Licensing Guide
Understand how asset usage differs between Personal and Commercial projects, including revenue limits, eligibility criteria, and what each usage type legally allows when working with Andersta Studios assets.
What counts as Personal Usage?
Personal usage applies when the creator — whether an individual or a small team — earns under $100,000 USD in total revenue or funding in the last 12 months.
- Projects created by hobbyists, students, or small indie teams
- Non-commercial or small-budget projects
- Can still be used in commercial releases (as long as revenue cap is not exceeded)
- Includes lifetime updates and personal library access
If your project, studio, or revenue grows beyond the threshold, you must upgrade to Professional usage.
What counts as Professional Usage?
Professional usage applies when a business or team generates more than $100,000 USD in total revenue or funding within the past 12 months, or when working on client-based, contracted, or studio-scale projects.
- Use in paid client work or studio productions
- Unlimited internal team usage within the same company
- Suitable for agencies, studios, and large-scale projects
- Covers all commercial, monetized, and professional work
If you're unsure whether your project qualifies as professional, lean towards the Professional license.

Asset & License Sharing Policy
Purchased assets and license keys are tied to your account and may not be shared, uploaded, redistributed, or transferred to any third party outside your team.
Unauthorized sharing or redistribution may result in license termination, download suspension, or permanent account removal.
Each user or team must purchase their own valid license depending on their usage type.
Still unsure which usage applies?
